A while ago I was talking to a new friend and I was mentioned I had done over 100 rooms. Their next question was not which was my favourite, but what I look for when booking these rooms. The short answer was...availability. However, I think it probably is worth mentioning what can sway my decision! … Continue reading What I look for in an Escape Room

MY PERSONAL RANKING
As I am now on over 100 rooms, I took the time to create a vague ranking. PLEASE NOTE this is entirely personal to me and my experiences, attempting to rank rooms with (sometimes) years since playing them!
THE PANIC ROOMS (ONLINE) – The Overseer (GIFTED)
This online experience was given to me free in exchange for a review (this review, to be precise). The Panic Rooms put out requests for anyone interested and I immediately put my hand up, knowing how fantastic the company is, and that they've done a great job of getting online experiences up and running.
M4 ESCAPES – Dino Deadlock
I've been waiting to write this review for a while - ever since I knew the room was coming! I am fortunate enough to be friends with Tom at M4, who kept me entertained throughout lockdown with updates of the room, and behind the scenes information. As soon as I knew we were allowed to … Continue reading M4 ESCAPES – Dino Deadlock
ESCAPE KENT – Missing
Having taken the plunge at the start of the holiday, I wanted to get one more room in before returning to our small London flat and shutting ourselves away again. I debated over which room to do for a while, knowing we wanted to return to 'Escape Kent', but simultaneously wanting to get the most … Continue reading ESCAPE KENT – Missing
ESCAPE KENT – Vicé Versa
We recently spent a week in Kent with the family, and decided to take the plunge and get back into the swing of things with an escape room. The industry has been hit hard by the outbreak (as expected), so we felt it was important to get back out there and supporting them! We've visited … Continue reading ESCAPE KENT – Vicé Versa
ADVENTURE GAMES: DISCOVER THE STORY By Thames & Kosmos
With all the rooms closed, I needed to find an outlet for my escape room cravings. Fortunately, there were already a few games on the market, with a few more beginning to appear as it became the lockdown was here to stay. Here I've reviewed one I've only played one scenario for, although it's from … Continue reading ADVENTURE GAMES: DISCOVER THE STORY By Thames & Kosmos

RIDDLE WITHIN – Flight 338
Within our enthusiast community, this has been one of the most anticipated games (particularly within London). Based on a real airplane (although grounded), the opening has been anything but smooth, and reviews has been very mixed. However, in the midst of Storm Dennis, we pressed on. The Set The set is based on an actual … Continue reading RIDDLE WITHIN – Flight 338
CLEVER DILEMMA – Murder at the Wild West Quest saloon
This room marked a few different firsts for me - the first Cowboy themed room I've done, the first time I've been surprised by a trip to an escape room, and the first time my boyfriend has successfully surprised me! The front of Clever Dilemma is pretty unassuming, located closer to the train station rather … Continue reading CLEVER DILEMMA – Murder at the Wild West Quest saloon
SCRAMM – Chocolate Factory
Often when looking for escape rooms to do, I'll look at what is in the vicinity, or what has good reviews. However, we discovered this one whilst visiting a relative just outside Banbury, and when we saw the theme was a Chocolate Factory, we knew we had to do it! The Set The first thing … Continue reading SCRAMM – Chocolate Factory
